Meta has made Muse Voice, which lets people call and video chat with its AI agent Muse, available to everyone in the U.S. The feature uses Muse Realtime Voice and customizable Muse Realtime Avatar technology, which Meta says makes conversations with personal agents more natural; real-time conversations are supported on mobile, web, and Mac. The Verge tried the feature on iOS and reported quick voice responses with occasional pauses during information lookups. Its reporter found the avatar animation effective but uncanny. Meta says Muse Voice will later come to its AI glasses and the upcoming Muse Charm device.
