AWS has made Web Answer generally available on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, where the managed Gateway tool returns synthesized answers with citations from current web sources. It is available in US East (N. Virginia) (us-east-1) for $10 per 1,000 tool calls, with a limit of 10 transactions per second per account in that region. Web Answer differs from Web Search, which returns ranked results for an agent’s model to process. AWS describes how to add Web Answer to a Gateway and call it from a Strands agent.
