AWS explained how Taxbit built Taxbit Assist, an AI assistant embedded in its dashboard, on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. The assistant uses a curated knowledge base and retrieval pipeline with semantic chunking and reranking, alongside safety controls and ongoing production evaluation. Taxbit said the current version cannot read customer tax data and that model costs average under 20 cents per conversation. Taxbit said the assistant has operated in the US and EU since May 2026, with EU traffic handled by in-geography inference.
