Agility Robotics agreed to go public through a reverse merger with a special-purpose acquisition company, a deal expected to raise $465 million from retail investors and private funding. The company said it has $300 million in planned contracts from 30 customers for its Digit 5 humanoid robot. Agility has not yet shown Digit 5 prototypes. CEO Johnson said the company plans to demonstrate them at CES 2027 and make the robot widely available by the end of that year. In the first six months of 2026, Agility reported $174,000 in revenue and a $362 million loss.
