AWS introduced Smart Approvals in Amazon Quick to review eligible AI agent actions against the user's request and conversation context. The feature can approve an action automatically or send it to a person for review; existing permissions and mandatory approval requirements still apply. Each automatic approval covers only the specific action and parameters reviewed. Smart Approvals is on by default, except that profiles with deny-by-default enabled must explicitly allow it. Users can turn it off for themselves. AWS says CloudTrail Event history keeps events for 90 days; longer investigations require a configured trail.
