Google Research introduced Agile Deliberation, a framework that helps people refine subjective category definitions through an iterative conversation with an AI system. It first organizes a concept into subcategories and exclusions, then presents borderline images for users to review and provide feedback. In 18 live sessions lasting 1.5 hours each, Google Research said the process reduced user fatigue and anxiety and produced more consistent, higher-performing models than standard baselines.
