Anthropic’s IPO filing details Nasdaq plans, financial losses, and AI risks
Anthropic has publicly filed its S-1 with the SEC and plans to list on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT. The filing reports an $80.7 billion net loss on $16.3 billion in revenue in the first half of this year, with most losses attributed to accounting charges related to funding notes. It also details multibillion-dollar compute commitments and warns of copyright disputes and potentially uninsurable catastrophic AI incidents.
Anthropic’s IPO filing reveals its strategy for keeping enterprise customers hooked
Anthropic’s IPO filing describes an enterprise expansion strategy connecting its Claude platform with applications such as Claude Code and Cowork. More than half of customers spending at least $100,000 annually use both the platform and a first-party app, up from about 30% at the end of last year; net revenue retention reached about 900% at the end of the third quarter. The filing also identifies risks from customer concentration and cloud partners that increasingly compete with Anthropic.
SpaceX locks in $40B GPU financing deal with Apollo
SpaceX disclosed a binding commitment for roughly $40 billion in AI chip and data center equipment financing through an Apollo Global Management entity, which will purchase the hardware and lease it to SpaceX. The leases will run about five to five-and-a-quarter years. SpaceX expects closing by year-end, subject to conditions, with leases beginning in the first half of 2027 as equipment arrives.
Tesla Begins Early Optimus Production and Plans a Robot Training Academy
Tesla says early Optimus production has begun at its Fremont factory, with initial robots meeting manufacturing quality standards for mass production. Elon Musk plans to build 10,000–20,000 robots for Optimus Academy, where autonomous practice in simulation and the real world would generate data for subsequent AI models. The planned Fremont line targets 1 million robots annually, but Musk says reaching roughly 20,000 per week will take at least a year, possibly longer, while hand design, reliability and AI capabilities remain under development.

Guide to prompt caching for AI agents using OpenAI models on Amazon Bedrock
Claudio Mazzoni explains how to combine implicit caching for growing conversations with explicit breakpoints for shared tools and instructions when using OpenAI models on Amazon Bedrock. The guide covers preserving cache reuse across tool changes, subagents, and sessions, plus monitoring cache reads and writes. In a six-turn GPT-6 Astra workload, implicit caching lowered input cost by about 62 percent, while explicit rolling breakpoints saved about 61 percent.
Build agentic retrieval on a Managed Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Base with CDK
AWS demonstrates how to build agentic retrieval across two Managed Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases using a Python AWS CDK application. The solution connects a reasoning agent through AgentCore Gateway to separate financial and weather retrieval tools, with cited answers, two CloudWatch dashboards covering seven telemetry layers, and on-demand and continuous evaluation. The walkthrough covers deployment, testing, observability, evaluation sampling costs, and cleanup.
