Genie 4 is quite an insane experience, generating game-like enviornments as you go. It isn't flawless but I can type "Neogothic brutalist city inhabited by robots and horses" & it creates one in a minute. Then I asked it to add dragons. Then a friendly otter NPC. All in realtime

The story so far

Ethan Mollick said Genie 4 created a game-like environment from his text prompt in about a minute and let him request additions in real time. He prompted it for a “Neogothic brutalist city inhabited by robots and horses,” then asked it to add dragons and a friendly otter NPC. Mollick described the experience as imperfect but said the system generated environments as he went.
