JD.com’s 11.11 Starts With Double-Digit Growth in First-Day Buyers

What happened
JD.com said the number of users placing orders on the first day of its 11.11 event grew by double digits year over year. At a launch event on October 15, the company also announced its “333” service plan and unveiled more than 100 service offerings. JD.com said its AI capabilities are being used across more than 3,000 scenarios, including retail, logistics, health, industry, food delivery and home services.
