Jun Kim, creator and maintainer of oMLX, has joined Hugging Face full-time to build the MLX community. oMLX will transition from a side project to a funded, long-term effort, remain under the Apache 2.0 license, and continue under Kim's leadership, with a focus on improving stability and speeding up development.
