Agentic retrieval with LangChain and Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases

What happened

Amazon Bedrock Managed Knowledge Base introduced agentic retrieval. Its AgenticRetrieveStream API breaks multi-part questions into subqueries, repeatedly checks whether the evidence is sufficient, and searches again when needed, replacing the Retrieve API's single vector search.
