Li Auto unveils Lianshan EV technology and lifetime battery fire guarantees

What happened

Li Auto unveiled its Lianshan EV technology system, covering batteries, electric drives, charging equipment and its charging network, alongside conditional lifetime battery fire guarantees. If a quality defect in its internally developed battery causes spontaneous combustion and the vehicle meets total-loss criteria, Li Auto promises a new vehicle with the same configuration. For qualifying collision-related battery fires, it will cover the gap between the insured vehicle value and the insurer’s actual payout.
