What happened
About 20 Chinese automotive brands attended the 2026 Paris Motor Show, double the 2024 count and roughly one-third of participating vehicle brands, according to Reuters. Li Auto announced European deliveries of Li 6 starting in the Netherlands and Norway in the first quarter of 2027, while Seres said AITO would enter Europe in autumn 2027. Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume urged France and Germany to cooperate in response to competition from Chinese automakers.
