Speaker-labeled transcription with WhisperX on SageMaker AI
What happened
AWS has released a WhisperX Deep Learning Container (DLC) that builds on OpenAI Whisper with batch inference, word-level timestamps from wav2vec2 forced alignment, and speaker diarization. It can be deployed to real-time or asynchronous Amazon SageMaker AI endpoints without building a custom image.
