What happened
This walkthrough explains how to connect on-premises data sources to Amazon Quick without sending traffic over the public internet, using AWS PrivateLink and VPC connections. It assumes an existing AWS Direct Connect or AWS Site-to-Site VPN link between the on-premises environment and a VPC, then describes configuring VPC endpoints, security groups, and endpoint policies for private access.

It covers configuring VPC endpoints, security groups, and endpoint policies. VPC connections require an Amazon Quick Enterprise subscription, and Quick website VPC endpoints are unavailable in the AWS China Regions and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.
