At its Windows and Surface launch event in San Francisco, Microsoft announced the Surface Laptop Ultra. The base model, with an Nvidia RTX Spark Arm-based chip, an 8-core CPU, 24 GB of memory, and 512 GB of storage, starts at $2,599. It goes on sale October 16 and replaces the Surface Connect port with built-in magnetic USB-C charging.
