What happened
Hikvision won the Industrial Automation Award at the 2026 China International Industry Fair on October 12 for its AI ultrasonic testing technology. The company says its ultrasonic foundation model analyzes raw signals to identify and measure defects, and can automatically interpret the full inspection process in typical scenarios. In one automotive parts project, defect identification accuracy was at least 99.5%, with a missed detection rate of no more than 0.5%.
