What happened
Cold start, meet build time. 📷 Shipping precompiled Python bytecode in vLLM’s images cuts startup time by 14–18% (~18s on H100)—one `uv` flag at build time, with zero recompiles at launch. Already in CUDA nightlies; official release images from v0.32.0. Great work, @nilsmatteson. 📷

vLLM has added precompiled Python bytecode to its CUDA nightly images and says the change cuts startup time by 14–18%, saving about 18 seconds on H100. Official release images will include it starting with v0.32.0.
