What happened
Baoyu reports that METR’s November 5 report estimated Anthropic improved model capabilities on well-defined tasks roughly twice as fast through October 2026 as from March 2024 to October 2025. METR says the estimate is highly uncertain. The report was based on internal Anthropic information.
