Google DeepMind releases Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS and Flash-Lite TTS
What happened
Google DeepMind has released two text-to-speech models. Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS can design custom voices with different accents and characteristics; Gemini 3.8 Flash-Lite TTS is aimed at efficiency and scale, with a choice of custom styles or an official library of production-ready voices. The company says they can be used to create and deploy custom audio.
