What happened
The 2026 Greater Bay Area Semiconductor Industry Ecosystem Expo (WESEMiBAY) opened on October 14 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian), bringing together more than 1,000 semiconductor companies. The nearly 80,000-square-meter exhibition featured the industry supply chain and new product launches, including an 8-inch GaN-on-SiC process platform from Shenzhen Pinghu Laboratory. The expo continues October 15–16 with investment, AI computing ecosystem and industry analyst forums.
