The story so far

Tencent Hunyuan has open-sourced Hy-SimulMT, its model for real-time simultaneous interpreting between Chinese and English, with releases available on Hugging Face, ModelScope and GitHub. Tencent says Hy-SimulMT offers approximately three seconds of latency, high translation accuracy and real-time voice cloning. The company also claims the model outperforms most open-source models and commercial APIs.
