Anthropic Begins a U.S. Beta of Claude Personal Finance

Claude introduces Personal Finance in beta in the US. Users can connect selected accounts and ask money questions in everyday language using their balances and transactions. Access is read-only, and Claude cannot move, manage, or invest their money.

Anthropic is rolling out Claude’s Personal Finance tool in beta this week to Pro, Max, and Ultra users in the U.S. Users can connect bank and credit card accounts through Plaid to review spending, flag potential issues, and ask broader financial questions. Anthropic says access is read-only, covers up to two years of transaction history, and conversations in the Personal Finance hub are not used to train its models.
