The collapsing price of intelligence
What GPT-4 charged in March 2023 versus the cheapest model of equal capability today. Log scale — every gridline is 10× cheaper.

What is e/acc
Effective accelerationism — e/acc — is the position that technological progress, and AI in particular, should be accelerated rather than restrained: that growth is a moral good, that building is how problems get solved, and that civilization should climb the Kardashev gradient.
It began in May 2022 as a pseudonymous newsletter by @BasedBeffJezos (Guillaume Verdon), @bayeslord and collaborators — part physics, part meme, part reaction to AI-safety pessimism. By late 2023 it had jumped from a Twitter suffix to mainstream venture discourse, endorsed by figures like Marc Andreessen and Garry Tan.
This site is not the movement and speaks for no one. It is an instrument panel: what shipped, what it costs, how fast the altar burns. Draw your own conclusions — preferably from data.
