Anthropic has opened applications for its paid, full-time AI safety research residency, with applications due November 22. The fixed-term program is open to academics, technical founders, and staff-level engineers, and does not require a machine learning background. Residencies last six weeks, three months, or six months. Annualized pay is $350,000 to $500,000 for US roles and £265,000 to £375,000 for UK roles, prorated to the residency’s duration.
