What happened
Meituan released LongCat-2.5 on November 2, a native multimodal model with 1.6 trillion parameters designed for long-horizon agent tasks. Continuing the LongCat series’ development direction, it was trained entirely on domestic computing resources in what the report describes as the largest training task completed on such infrastructure to date.
