What happened
Ant Group’s self-developed AI data platform OceanBase received the World Internet Conference Outstanding Contribution Award on November 3. The conference citation said OceanBase “builds AI data infrastructure to serve the development of the global digital economy.” This is OceanBase’s second major World Internet Conference award, following the World Internet Leading Scientific and Technological Achievement Award in 2022.

OceanBase received the World Internet Conference Outstanding Contribution Award for its AI data infrastructure. The conference citation said the platform supports development of the global digital economy. OceanBase won in the growth potential category, one of 15 companies selected from more than 230 applicants across nearly 20 countries and regions. It previously received a World Internet Conference award in 2022.
