What happened
Google has offered voluntary departure compensation to some employees in Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Switzerland since June this year, according to an exclusive Reuters report on November 4. The offer excludes DeepMind, the division responsible for AI research, and provides up to 12 months of salary.
