Amazon SageMaker JumpStart: 2026 year-to-date in review
What happened
Amazon SageMaker JumpStart added over 100 models from 30 providers from January through September 2026, expanding support for reasoning, multimodal processing, creative generation, and specialized tasks. AWS also introduced a simplified Model Hub on the SageMaker AI console, deployment configurations optimized for cost, latency, throughput, or balance, and Hugging Face deep links that open supported models in a configured SageMaker Studio environment.
