The story so far
Meta is rolling out Muse Realtime Avatar in the Muse app in the US, turning Muse Realtime Voice into expressive, interactive avatars for conversations with personal agents. Meta says the avatars are intended to make those interactions feel more natural. The Verge tried the feature on iOS and reported quick voice responses, with occasional pauses during information lookups; its reporter described the animation as effective but uncanny. Meta says voice conversations and avatars are coming soon to its AI glasses and will be available on the forthcoming Muse Charm gadget, which is supposed to ship this year.
